The Mine Has Been Waiting…

Whether you’ve been wandering the wastes of Pennsyltucky, you’re moving through the area with a caravan, or you’re looking for a new settlement to call home, welcome to Haze Hollow.

This new settlement appeared not long after the centuries burning fires at the old mine went out. There isn’t a morgue, there isn’t much of anything, but folks started to arrive along the The Cinder Trail, and a new settlement began to grow into something worth protecting. Nestled in the NE region of Pennsyltucky, the mine looms over the town leaving a long shadow, and something deep in its bowels has started to wake up. Whether you’re a survivor just looking for people again after the Three-Year Horde, or you’ve been wandering for years, there’s something here for you…provided you can survive what is waiting for you here.

Dystopia Rising is a live-action roleplay that runs monthly, set in a post-apocalyptic, zombie-infested world.

For one weekend players fully inhabit the role of their character; crafting and farming for supplies, fighting off undead hordes and other threats to the wasteland, eating, sleeping, and making friends while trying not to die.

We are an 18+ game with no themes of sexual assault, or slavery in active gameplay. We foster an inclusive community, while also scaring the living daylights out of each other for one weekend each month.

Our games are PvE based (Player v. Environment) which means most of the time you won’t be fighting other survivors in settlement but trying to fight off zed, raiders, and everything else the wasteland will throw at you.

Working with other survivors is the only way you’ll all live to see daylight.

The world of Dystopia Rising is built around the stories players want to be involved in. There are plenty of things to get involved in from crafting, to research.

What you’ll need to do is decide why your character is fighting, and get involved. There’s always a new threat on the horizon in the wasteland.

Haze Hollow is a new settlement, which means there isn’t a ton of history hanging over you.

Make your place, grow the town, and protect your new home from threats both from outside the settlement…and within.
